Nestled in the heart of Windsor Hills, Jerusalem Chicken is a vibrant haven for lovers of Middle Eastern and Palestinian cuisine. This family-owned gem brings an authentic taste of Jerusalem to Los Angeles with a menu bursting with rich, bold flavors and thoughtfully crafted dishes that celebrate tradition and warmth.
The star of the menu is undoubtedly their succulent chicken, presented in a variety of mouthwatering forms. From the Siti's Original J-Chicken Plate featuring tender chicken smothered in a bright, lemony sauce, to the flavorful Lemon and Garlic Chicken Plate, each bite resonates with a perfect balance of acidity and savory depth. The chicken is so tender that it literally melts off the bone, a fact that impressed even discerning foodies like Gavin Meichelbock who raved about its effortless tenderness and the must-try garlic sauce that elevates every forkful.
Complementing their poultry offerings are dishes like the Jerusalem Beef Steak Sandwich and the Jerusalem Beef Steak Bowl, where thinly sliced beef sautéed in a signature seasoning blend is served over fragrant Jerusalem rice. If you seek hearty indulgence, the Chicken Fakir Bowl spices things up with bell peppers and onions harmonizing with tender chicken, while the vegetarian-friendly JFoohl and JFalafel Bowl showcase the vibrant plant-based heritage of Palestinian cuisine.
Start your meal with a crunchy, addictive portion of Pita Chips or crispy Kubbah—golden fried dumplings stuffed with ground beef, onions, and almonds, whose satisfying textures are impossible to forget. For an unexpected delight, try the Duck Confit or the perfectly crispy Chicken Wings, bringing variety and depth to your Middle Eastern feast.
No authentic dining experience here is complete without the warming, thick, and chewy pita bread—a beloved staple praised by regulars as a "gamechanger" perfect for scooping creamy, rich hummus or the unexpectedly spicy hummus that adds a fiery kick to the meal.
Thirsty guests can quench their palates with refreshing beverages like the bright and tangy Mint Lemonade or the naturally sweet Strawberry Lemonade, both offering a delightful counterpoint to the savory, spice-laden dishes. Many diners, including Katé Smith, found themselves pleasantly surprised by these flavorful drink options that perfectly complement the menu's robust flavors.
The atmosphere at Jerusalem Chicken is warm and inviting, reflecting the hospitable spirit of its family owners. Quick and attentive service ensures that every dining experience is enjoyable and seamless—qualities noted with praise by guests such as Evrth Angel who was impressed by both the speed and friendliness of the staff.

Larry David was onto something with Palestinian Chicken. Meat was uber tender to the point where you can pull the bones out with zero effort. The lemon sauce was bright and acidic. Potato salad was good, nothing great. The garlic sauce is a MUST. Pita was nice and warm. The spicy hummus was actually spicy, love that. And this is so much food for like $20, absolutely worth the price!
Jerusalem Chicken is a hidden gem! Their stuffed chicken was incredibly flavorful, and the hummus was creamy and rich. But the real standout was their thick, chewy pita bread - it's a game-changer! Perfect for scooping up all the deliciousness. Authentic Palestinian cuisine with a warm atmosphere. Highly recommend!
Family own and everything is delicious from chicken to the vegetarian options. I got the bowl and pita chips were a great pairing! Will be back
We got a chicken bowl and a steak bowl and both were unbelievably delicious! We both got the spicy version and it truly wasn’t too hot, but if you have no to low spice tolerance then just get the normal. We also got the cauliflower fritters and they are HUGE. And then normally I’m not a drink person but we got a strawberry lemonade and a mint lemonade, both really good and flavorful. Staff was so sweet and nice and it was nice to support a local Palestinian business
I am blown away by the flavor, customer service and very speedy service! Will definitely revisit when i am in LA! So delicious!!!
Highly recommend this place! The lemon chicken was so juicy and well seasoned. Our hummus was delicious, the pita was freshly warmed, the tabouleh tasted so fresh, and the rice was incredibly soft and favorable. Portions were also such a good value. Definitely try all the sauces if you can. The service was also incredible and so so generous. We felt so welcome and really enjoyed our meal. We will definitely be back!
This is what I crave when I want comfort food!!! Such a healthy and delicious meal. The baked potatoe chicken was cooked to perfection. The service is wonderful, very sweet people working there. I would only say they could work on covering up the area in the back, maybe even with just a curtain, to make the atmosphere more appealing. Other than that, it was truly wonderful.
The food is great! Got myself a steak fries bowl and the portion is very generous! Seasoned nicely and the spicy garlic perfect!
